Worst customer service ever! Renter beware, if you rent something from A-Z, make sure you inspect it with a fine tooth comb otherwise you will be paying for anything that goes wrong with their equipment! Scott (I am assuming is the manager), it Rude, unprofessional, and unreasonable. I have been renting a LOT of equipment for many years from the larger companies. Needed a small vibratory roller fast so decided to try A-Z. The roller was new and I had no issues using it. However it was a brand new machine and sometimes kinks need to be worked out. The cap for the instructions holder vibrated off and was run over. Also, a 12in PVC pipe that sprays water on the drum fell out from under machine (pipe was cracked). We kept the pieces and gave them to Scott when we returned the machine. He proceeds to tell us WE have to pay for the damaged parts! He says it was damage caused by neglect! We used the roller for about 2hr on a flat pad and loaded it back on the trailer. The parts literally fell out from under the machine while it was rolling. He wanted to charge 35 for a 12in piece of 1/2in PVC and a cap (maybe a dollar at hardware store). When I tried to explain to him that I didn’t do anything to “neglect” the machine and that they just fell off due to the vibration of the roller, he says if I don’t want to pay for the parts he is going to put me in the system as banned from their store and never to come back. In all my years I have never experienced such a rude manager and terrible customer service.
We stopped by because we needed a refill on our grill propane tank and we drive by it everyday and see the huge propane sign. Staff was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. Price was great and it sure does beat having to do the exchanges at other places because those can be a hassle (from experience of gates not opening and opening empty gates) They have other things that you can rent from what I saw they have things for fixing up the yard to Hitch trailers. From A to Z I'm sure you could find what you're looking for. I recommend giving them a try!
