I am so glad to have been fired from that place on June 2019. I wish Volt had never put me in there on March or April 2019. People at final pack were always hard on me, correcting me, making me uncomfortable with their jokes, telling me how to dress, telling me to wake up and be alert, and worst of all, I lost a lot of social time with my friends. Even some of the little friends I did have were either hard or were playing too much with me. I’ll never work there again. Those people were tired of me, and I was tired of that place. How lucky all our wishes came true!

For being a medical device company it's appalling at how many people don't properly wash their hands. Strict attendance policy which normally wouldn't bother me, but if your mother gets stabbed and you have to leave to see her it'll be marked as an occurrence point against you because it's company policy. They do not care about the little man. Very, very, very corporate. Little to no room for promotion. And one supervisor in particular really enjoyed trying to boss other people in other departments, and when he couldn't get his way he'd throw a fit and complain to that departments supervisor how their employees aren't listening to him. My advice? Avoid 2nd shift Final Pack and CVD departments.
This is a great facility met my wife here, had my first kid here, and now I'm planning to die here. Loved this place since the day I was born here and will continue to live in the basement with my fam rent free until i die. Thank you abbot labs.

I love this place. I started working in May 2016. The environment is very friendly and welcoming. Long hours, but gives me 3 days off (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), unless there is overtime. Friday, and Saturday Overtime pay is 1.5 X your hourly pay. Sunday is double pay which twice as much as your hourly pay. Currently, the company is looking for employees for assembly line positions. It is worth a try. You can reach a contractor company called Volt, then ask about St. Jude Medical hiring.
