I have been with ABC for more than a year and I am very happy with their professors. I am currently taking private Spanish lessons with Dana and she is amazing. She tracks all new words I did not know during the class and she puts them in our shared folder. I really appreciate that she takes time outside the class to help me stay on track. I have been working with her for about 3 months now and I can really see a lot of progress. Private lessons might be more expensive per hour, but much cheaper when I consider how much progress I make. I do 2x one hour a week and I think I learn more in one hour with Dana than in a group for five hours. Before Dana I worked with Oscar and he was also great. Unfortunately, with my new job our schedules were incompatible, but he is also a great guy and I liked learning from him.

My daughter has been working with Monica as a Spanish tutor since July. She had just finished a year of Spanish in middle school with three months in full remote. She couldn’t speak a word of Spanish, was barely passing and claimed to hate it. Fast forward 7 months and my daughter is getting As on quizzes, willingly speaking full sentences with fluency and most of all, truly enjoys her tutoring sessions. I give Monica all the credit. She is warm and encouraging but rigorous. She focuses on integrating the school unit of study while reinforcing the most essential skills. You could not find a better tutor and our family is so grateful for her help!!

Ian Holloway is a great teacher. He has the extreme patience and kindness on helping me learning the language. He always spends good amount of time preparing for our next class, doing things like writing quizzes, finding useful resources. While teaching one phrase or word, he also cites many other phrases or words and how to use those and how different they are. I will highly recommend him to anyone.

I highly recommend Ian Holloway as an English tutor. Ian is great for the following reasons: He is very kind, thoughtful and super attentive. Ian always prepares for our lessons. Ian’s preparations, clarity and guidance saves me a lot of time and struggle. I worked with Ian for the past 4 months. 3 months in with Dana and very happy! super flexible, detailed and fun. Online learning makes connecting for lessons extremely easy. Having a shared drive to review past lessons is helpful. Plus no longer dreading going to Spanish class like I did in highschool hhah.
