Don't miss their retail sales on Friday! Everything was so reasonable and delicious is the adjective of choice. Now you can order online and just go pick up. We love smoked whole white fish. Smoked salmon and pastrami salmon are nice too. Prices would be at least double at other retail outlets.

I have been buying your Herring in Wine sauce andI find it very hard to eat with all the vinegar you are using. I suggest that someone taste it and then try the vita herring in wine sauce and you will see a marked difference. I have a friend who has a PhD in food science and he says it is a vinegar issue. I hope you find this helpful. I still love your smoked salmon
Nothing much to explain except this gem on Gem in Greenpoint Brooklyn is awesome. Been going for years and never disappointed. Went today for a pick up order. Heaven.
On Fish Friday, Acme is open to the public. Amazing variety of fresh smoked fish. Open from 8AM - 1PM, it is worth the trip. Acme is the premier supplier for all the local supermarkets and delis in the tri-state area, and has been for decades. Lox, whitefish, sable, whiting, herring, too many options to list.
Amazing place to get fresh a affordable fish in NYC. This place is open to the public ONLY on Fridays before 1pm. You can buy fresh fish by the pound, the staff is really nice and helpful to help you choosing. Sometimes there is a line (especially before holidays) but most of the time there are only a few people.
