Dr. Lavin has been treating my son for five years. He has always done everything possible to educate us and make sure we knew and were everything possible to facilitate his best health and growth. He is extremely knowledgeable and despite working in his field of endocrinology for decades, he stays at the forefront of current research while having the beside manner of country doctor. Be prepared - it’s a very busy office and the front staff is great especially since they are running quite well with what appears (to me) and kind of dated technology. That is, you may call and receive a busy signal during business hours and you may see them schedule your appointment in a calendar with pencil “old school” style in an actual physical calendar. Given the sheer volume of patients they serve and the many unique services provides in a specialty medical office like this (e.g., many patients there have unique conditions requiring specialized prescriptions with time consuming requirements with insurance companies every month), the staff are amazing!

While i did have to wait a long time, i immediately knew it was worth it. Dr. Lavin spent so much time and energy making sure my son and I were comfortable and knew everything they needed to know about his illness
