This is a saddle maker/designer/fitter who is intensely devoted to what is best for horses and their riders, especially for women of all shapes and sizes! As a retired ergonomic engineer and established horse owner himself, he has some of the most unique and modern insights to saddle fit I have come across in decades. I make my living as an equine veterinarian who specializes in sport horses and have a saddle made by Equine Inspired and have been nothing short of impressed. It’s been a game changer for myself personally and my clients.

Purchased a saddle April 2019 and have not yet received anything as of April 2020. Constantly being put off, promises of new dates that never happen, won’t return phone calls. I will have to involve an attorney now. Update: Involved attorney to request a full refund & have not received acceptable response or refund as of August 2020.
George does not follow through on his work. I ordered a saddle in 2017 still have received nothing although he had no problem charging my account. Extremely upset about this. A lot of money for nothing!! Impossible to get a hold of and won't return calls. He only gets a negative star - because I have to post somthing.
Do NOT order any saddle from Equine Inspired! George is a con man! I ordered a custom saddle August 2018 and paid him up front the full 3000. Its now November 2019 over a year and he has not delivered the saddle and refuses to refund my money!
I ordered a custom saddle from George Gullikson two years ago. I had requested extra d rings, set back stirrup bars, Buffalo flaps and no hole in the flap for the stirrup leathers. He said no problem and it would be a couple of months before it arrived and gave me a loaner. I paid him for the saddle...stupid mistake. It is now over two years later and my saddle still isn’t made. He says the guy in England is sick, the he says it will be here, then its not. I finally sent the saddle back and asked for a refund. I need the rings for trail riding which I do a lot of. For a 3,700 saddle I should have exactly what I ordered. I have contacted the better business bureau and am going to hire an attorney now as he hasn’t made any effort to contact me or make any payment at all. These are NOT custom saddles. They are saddles with adjustable features to them that George tweaks. The stirrup bars were not back far enough for me and came off so many times when I rode that my husband said not to ride in it anymore. They were set back as far as they could go. I caution anyone from doing business with George. Do not pay him til your saddle is actually in your hands, and then also realize this is NOT a custom saddle. He is very unprofessional in the way he handles his customers. All I can say is buyer beware. All he wants is your money, not in making sure you get exactly what you want. Biggest financial mistake I’ve made because he basically stole 3,700 from me with lies and false promises and I fell for his seemingly kind nature. Beware.
