My experience with the International Beauty Education Center (IBEC) started in September 2020. I’m on track to graduate within the next few weeks and I wouldn’t change anything about my experience here. The staff is welcoming and well educated, students are prepared and ready to learn, skills are taught quickly and thoroughly. I’ve also attended IBEC as a client and experienced professionalism and positive clientele results. I’m so eternally grateful for my experience at IBEC, I’ve learned life skills I’ll take into my career and well thought out technique. If anyone is considering IBEC, don’t second guess this opportunity, it’ll be a life changing experience.
I did the esthetician program here and I highly don’t recommend this school if you actually want to be taught properly or if you want to pass your board exam & be a professional. If you’re going to school to have fun & hangout with your friends then go here. I loved the instructors as they were always super nice but definitely not educated enough to be instructors.. they taught the bare minimum of any service and if we wanted to know more or had questions they would just point us to YouTube or google. During covid when the school shut down , it was optional to continue learning through the online book program. They told us they would create more courses for us to learn hands on things but that never happened. Once we got back to school I was so ahead in the program that’s the instructor even said “why are you in such a hurry to get out of here?” I asked multiple times for help on the state board exam and kits and no help. I even called the school on how to schedule my exam and they just said pay for it and wait. You basically have to do everything yourself if you want to learn anything. I have friends who went to Studio Beauty school and they learned so much more. All though the hours of school are convenient and the instructors are nice. Don’t spend 12k here because it’s not worth it.
