Went for the first time yesterday and probably won't go back. The service was really slow and they tried to overcharge me. For a bottle of hot sauce, a cup of homemade hot sauce (literally in a plastic cup) and a small bag of Fritos they said it was 12.60. I questioned the price and was told the Fritos came directly from Mexico and that was why they were 4.50. Well, where did all the other stuff come from and why wasn't it overpriced? I would much rather go to La Loma where they have a meat department and prices are clearly marked on the items.

This is a legit Mexican grocery store! They have candy, chorizo, quesos, y hasta nopalitos! On the weekends they have pan dulce that is really good. Today I even found pan de muertos.

I called ahead looking for a particular kind of tropical fruit. The very nice lady who answered my call was very helpful, and when I came to the store a couple of hours later, she not only remembered my call but helped me locate exactly what I needed.
