It was a very nice restaurant at a good location. Be warned some of the food can be a bit pricey at 10 to 20 bucks a plate; although the food was very good. The atmosphere was pleasant. The restaurant had a very unique feel to it and, you could tell it also had a signature vibe that was only found in that particular part of the city in VA. We were just passing through and wanted to experience something signature about the city. Two police cruisers pulled up, and ruined the atmosphere and vibe a little. I felt a little uneasy and unsafe, however, I felt better and more relived once they pulled away and didn't linger too long. The employees were friendly and kind. The outside patio and menu was surprisingly pet friendly. We enjoyed 40 degree weather under their complimentary heat lamps on their outside patio. Our Labrador even enjoyed a plate of chicken and rice with complimentary water bowl from their doggie menu which I thought was a very nice perk ... and so did he :-D

What an incredible first visit to Lena’s! Our server, Manfredo, made the experience so memorable - we can’t wait to be back! The food is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is so unique. James Cattaneo does a fantastic job as manager and it’s obvious the staff cares about each visitor’s experience. This restaurant is truly an Alexandria gem!
Love the garden oasis outside! The carnivore pizza never disappoints and the beer and wine selection is extensive. The wings says also really good!! Crispy but not overdone. They’re even doing tasty frozen cocktails right now. Service is great. A must try if you haven’t been!
Awesome experience. Great service. Even kept our reservation deapite being 15 min late. Very understanding.
