These folks are amazing. Although we still haven't figured things out, buy or build, megan and Liara have been so helpful. If you are even considering a new home, come talk to them. They will let you know all the options and work with you to get you what you want.

I want to save the massive stress for someone else. I contacted them and put the 5 grand down. I chose and modified the plan in a very basic manner. It didnt aporaise high enough.Two months later still no firm pricing on anything, including choices already made. Extreme confusion on who does what when. Blamed me for the low appraisal because I attempted to get things done and get the loan completed. Two months gone before I even saw the foundation plans. Every new "price sheet" was different (example, one laundry cabinet that was chosen early on somehow went up 50% this week and the fireplace rebate just "disappeared".) Be wary of allowances because YOU will pay the difference when it goes over, even if you choose "standard" items. I am sure I will be blamed, or the supplier.

My wife and I went to AADH for our new home. Our situation was unique in that this was our first home purchase (I had been given my grandfathers land). We came to AADH with a goal of what we wanted our house to be like, and from the first meeting onwards, the Van Beeks worked with us every step of the way. We never felt overwhelmed, pressured, or unimportant. There were lots of big decisions and even more small decisions and we were very happy with how we were treated. Even though our project happened during the pandemic, AADH made it work better than we expected! We are very satisfied with the quality of the work. Our house is beautiful and also very functional. They were genuinely excited to work with us. We didn't really know what we were getting into with our first home being newly built, but I can honestly say that AADH understood and walked us through and answered every question. The most stressful part of the entire project was waiting to get started due to me dealing with the bank (no fault of AADH). I would like to recommend AADH to anyone looking for general contracting. We had many questions and Megan’s product knowledge made everything easy. If Megan didn’t have the answer, she would do some research and notify us immediately with the answer. Kimberly and John were Awesome to work with planning our new custom home! We brought in a blueprint of something similar to what we wanted and they made some great suggestions we hadn't thought of which helped us tweak it until we came up with a perfect plan. I would be lying if I said there weren't bumps in the road or frustrations along the way during the build but they worked very hard with us and the end result was a Absolutely gorgeous house that we all are proud of! They helped line us up with a bank for financing and when it came time for final loan the rate had dropped so we ended up with a great rate. I have to add too that they didn't bump up our cost at the end so the price actually stayed where we were quoted unlike so many others we talked to had thousands added on at the end of their build they didn't expect. We do love our new home!!
