Every project she gets me out on is a good fit so she just gets it. My 4th audition with Bolt I booked an awesome role in a feature film. I was a little nervous approaching my first meeting with Bolt Entertainment founder Bryce Hall and agent Milly Pierce. I've been in this business 10 years and between Atlanta and Los Angeles, have experienced my fair share of unfulfilled promises. My apprehension was soon soothed, as I truly connected with the intention of Bolt Entertainment. What I loved most is this management company's intense desire to not only get but CREATE opportunities for their clients. They understand that this industry is shifting and growing in the way that artists obtain acting opportunities, and they pride themselves on being a leading edge management company who doesn't sit back and wait for opportunities to appear, but who diligently and authoritatively birth them. I felt they understood my desire to be taken seriously not just as an actress, but a creator and a female writer and producer. Working most directly with Milly, I can say her communication is phenomenal. Any questions or concerns I have, I feel uber confident reaching out to her. She understands the strain sometimes placed on artists, as we are navigating this unpredictable and fickle industry. She supports me while simultaneously beckoning me to come higher, evolve, and become the GREATEST version of myself I've ever been. I recently booked my first project with Bolt Entertainment, the television show Queen Sugar, which happens to be produced by my own personal guru, Oprah Winfrey. I filmed in the beautiful city of New Orleans and experienced immense joy as I was able to serve a television show that I believe in and have been profoundly impacted by. My team at Bolt was and continues to support me in all I do. I feel supported, encouraged, and most of all...safe. Safe to be me. And to know that I am enough. Not just enough, but everything I need to be to create the career of my dreams.
