The countertops were installed out of level with wooden shims. We have no idea why. We had to plead with their manager the following day to remove the wedge and level the countertops correctly. They actually wanted to leave the quartz bowing and unlevel which could void the warranty for many stones. This was very stressful dealing with a company that required this much supervision to install an expensive countertop correctly. Please see the pictures.

We had a kitchen remodel done by Stone Unlimited (SU) in the fall of 2019. We were pleased with all aspects of service the company provided - from the owner, to the project manager and office staff, to the crew members who worked in our home. The project was managed expertly and monitored closely. Any issues (and there are always at least a few) were addressed quickly and courteously. I do need to share one cautionary tale though it is not about the company. I would think long and hard before selecting marble countertops for a kitchen (may be a better choice for a bathroom). The Carrara marble we selected, though beautiful, has some drawbacks. While we’ve not had any issues with staining, which is mitigated by the sealant applied by SU, we did not realize exactly “how” sensitive the marble is to etching, water marks, and dings/scratches. Though I don’t blame SU for this as it's the stone itself, I do feel our project manager could have a cautioned us more strongly before we chose marble for the kitchen. Having said that, the marble is definitely a piece of art and I was told by someone that that the Italians consider some wear to be part of the charm, so hopefully I will come around to that idea.

Stone Unlimited recently completed remodeling my master bathroom and guest bathroom. I can't say enough good things about this company and all their employees that have been such a pleasure to work with. They are thorough, detailed and customer oriented, that take great pride in their work. I enjoyed working with the entire staff. Sherry Henkle my designer/project manager was excellent, had great attention to all details ensuring a successful project. Her suggestions and detail of the design and materials to be used made the process so easy. There was no organizing and coordinating of contractors, vendors, etc. on my end necessary because Stone Unlimited takes care of all of that for the customer, which is invaluable. I would highly recommend Stone Unlimited. Thank You.
