Just came back from this place...the service was slow. I have some serious food safety questions for this establishment. There is raw food (chicken, seafood, beef) within inches of each other uncovered in a buffet setting. I picked up the chicken tongs and there was disgusting chicken juice all over it. I asked how sanitary it was (nothing to wipe your hands with after handling RAW meat - and yes little kids were handling it too - just gross) and the answer was that everything was maybe changed out every 5 minutes. So I watched...none of the tongs were changed the entire time we sat there and the meat was refilled if low - not changed out. So that means that the bottom had old raw meat - probably there at least an hour or so. I remember taking food safety classes when handling raw meat...I really doubt any of the customers had to take these classes so there was most likely contamination of raw meats into other meats. I really hope that this place can be reviewed by a food safety expert to determine if it is even safe. I want to reiterate this point - customers line up buffet style to put your raw meats, veggies, and such into the same bowl to be cooked later... honestly, I won't go back there for that reason alone. The food ended up being overcooked and dry. Interesting idea but poorly executed and seemingly unhealthy and unsafe.
