Got my bridesmaids dress altered in a few days. Lady was very nice. They text me when my dress was ready for pick up. The rooms could be swept more after use. When I came home the bottom of my dress and shoes I tried on for that dress were covered in glitter. So that kinda sucked. But in all it was a great experience. The lady also suggested a great idea for my dress once I used it for the wedding. A cape for my daughter! Prices are good and they only accept cash, Venmo and checks.

I was referred to this business by Cobblestone Shoe Hospital. I needed zippers/expanders added to my brand new boots. It would have to be sent away so they suggested this business. I explained to the lady what I wanted, she assured me that she could do the work and it would look great. That was far from what I received. The work lacked attention to detail and my new boots look horrible. It looks worn and has scratches all over. The stitching was poorly done and I’m left with boots I wouldn't wear out. I would have appreciated the lady being honest with me if she couldn't do what I needed done, now 86 dollars later I regret taking my boots to this business.
Found this location just based on a few Google searches and I'm so happy I chose Alterations To Go! The staff were so friendly and helped me immediatley upon arrival. I had two pairs of pants altered by bringing the waist in. Carmen was fast, friendly and the pants were ready within 3 days. I would highly recommend this business for tailoring or alterations! I will be back!
This establishment does very good work. They are very high priced. I had a jacket from a suit they charged me several hundred dollars to refit the tailoring on and when I wore the jacket it did not hang right in the back. When they did the first alteration I pointed out the importance of making sure it hung right concerning the back. I pointed that out to the lady and I was shocked that she wanted to charge me more to fix what they agreed to do in the first place. After spending several thousand dollars on tailoring with them they want to quibble over 30. For me, it was not the money but the principle. Then the owner, Carmen called me as I requested, was rude and unprofessional accusing me of slamming doors and screaming. I may have spoken loudly when I said I can't believe you want to charge me more but that was all I said, except to ask to have the owner call me. I have no recollection of slamming doors. I was so upset I forgot my hanger and went back in for it. When I walked in the second time I said, \I forgot my hanger.\ That was it. The owner was totally non - responsive, would not even listen to me - and obviously had made her mind up to write me off as a customer when she called. I listened quietly until she finished and she hung up on me. I never complained once about their prices while they re-tailored my whole wardrobe. I am stunned that the lady that was so charming to me in the beginning just blows me off and won't even listen to me. I will find another tailor for my needs.
Wonderful work at a reasonable price, especially considering the high quality. I read other reviews and was worried but I've used them multiple times now and have not once been disappointed.
