Outstanding Flight School! The instructors are all very knowledgeable and helpful. The environment there is more like a family than a big school. They really do go out of their way to help their students. I really enjoyed the training and would highly recommend! Thanks guys for all the help!

I have been renting and training at American Pilot Academy for the past 2 years. They are absolutely the best! I love these folks. The school and company are everything a pilot could want in a flight school and aircraft rental: Professional; service oriented; helpful; generous; and an easy-going, well-equipped environment. The aircraft are well-maintained. This is the place I send anyone who wants to fly---at any level. They are personable and make you feel as if you found a second home. Can't rave enough about them. Thanks to all the staff.
I began my multi and instrument training with APA in March 2017. Previous owners were responsive and helpful along with the instructors I had. I completed my multi training and was needing to finish my instrument training. In Sept 2018 I was not getting the responses from the owner when I would want to schedule training. Found out previous management left suddenly under some questionable circumstances. The new owners have been very accommodating and working hard to rebuild their business and sort through the financial mess left behind. I gave the new management team an opportunity to make things right before I went to another flight school and I have not regretted that decision. I wish American Aero the very best.
Took my 8 year old grandson for a discovery flight and RICK was absolutely AWESOME! Rick made it fun, even for grandpa in the back seat. Very nice people at American Pilot Academy. THANKS!!
Rommel Inoa was so great! He made us feel so comfortable. He's so funny but relaxed. He would make a great comedian.
We were so disappointed to hear what happened to American Pilot Academy about 3 months ago. The previous director, who was also a minority owner in the school, left the school and took all the money when he left (including the student deposits) as well as the majority of the aircraft. The majority owner, who was also the primary investor in the school, had no choice but to close American Pilot Academy down. However, the majority owner, who had nothing to do with the decisions or actions of the previous director for American Pilot Academy, decided to rebuild. He established Alpha Aero Academy and is running the new school the right way and, most importantly, honestly and ethically. Alpha Aero Academy has even taken on some of the obligations that were left unpaid by the previous management of the old school (like an unpaid fuel bill and the student deposits), though they are not under any legal obligated to do so. This just goes to show the honesty and character of the new owners of Alpha Aero Academy. If you are a former student of American Pilot Academy who had your deposit taken by the previous management of the school, I encourage you to contact Alpha Aero Academy. They will treat you right and work something out to take care of the training that you already paid for, but never received, because they believe that it is just the right thing to do.
I have trained with APA after a bad experience at a previous school. I felt APA was interested in getting me to my license and not holding me up to make more money. This school has underwent a ownership /management change and from what I’ve heard,there were people who lost their money during the change (it wasn’t a friendly change, from what I hear). I had a small discrepancy in my account and the new owners have been working with me to make it right. It seems flight schools in general, are a place where hard feelings abound. People either love it or hate it. Formerly APA now Alpha Aero Academy is a place where a person can go to receive good flight training at competitive rates with people who are working hard to make the training experience warm and welcoming. I am currently working towards my commercial rating with Alpha Aero. Again, they are working to make things right. Theirs doors are very much open.
These guys helped me do a small portion of training when I needed it the most. Very helpful, honest, great people.
