Americanreefs is truly a gem when it comes to all things saltwater! Steven runs one of the most clean reef shops in all of southern California. You can tell he genuinely has a passion for this hobby. Especially in this industry the owner of the shop makes all the difference. He is wealth of information, has EXTREMELY REASONABLE prices, and above all else the products he sells are of the upmost QUALITY. If you are in the market for some new coral or fish, look no further this is the place!

Friendly shop with an awesome selection of healthy coral. He mentioned having some used lights and ended up leaving with a kessil 360 for 150 will definitely return in the near future.

This place is awesome. A little small, but very clean. The owner has been reefing for 20 years and is super knowledgeable about corals. I’m still a newbie, so he spend the time patiently going over everything with me. Unfortunately, his card machine was down but he directed me to the atm next door as he patiently waited for me after hours. He gave us a discount along with a few extras for the inconvenience. I live a bit far from here but wouldn’t hesitate to return when I’m ready for more life in my tank!
I know most fish store owners in socal area, but let me talk about Steven really quick. I met Steven when he was running his store back in Costa Mesa. I just want to say that he is an honest guy who is always trying to help. I bought corals from him in Costa Mesa, Reefapalooza, and the new store he has opened. Steven has some dank corals if you are a hardcore reefer like myself. If you are into reefing, you want to connect with someone like Steven who is knowledgeable and kind as a person.
