Do not go here! Apparently this location is closed until the “pandemic” is over. The windows are plastered with contradicting information saying that customers cannot walk in but that they will help people outside with instructions on what to do. They also have posted business hours for filling and recertifying cylinders. When I drove in the second time during the posted business hours I watched an employee walk into the building and shut and lock the door. He would not respond at all to anyone outside. Whoever was working there on 4-1-21 at 1:00 PM needs to be fired. They’re just sitting inside stacking up a paycheck.

The "new" voice assisted system is AWFUL! Any type of prompt you give the system, diverts you to a customer service rep, but the wait times are anywhere from 59 - 92 minutes. We use to call right down to our local Amerigas location and talk to a real human quickly and get our needs taken care of in a timely manner. I understand Covid has a lot of companies running thin, but most other places have found ways to still take care of their customers faster and more professionally than this. I am willing to change my rating if Amerigas can streamline their system and fix these issues
I have been a customer of Ogden Amerigas for over 3 years with good service. But this last time I ordered propane, it has an been unbelievable experience. Ordered and paid on Dec 9th, their truck drove by my place twice , a week apart, while I tried to contact their office. 86 minute wait on the phone, emails with a " do not reply " response, waited 40 minutes on line waiting for a chat operator never connected. Their office is locked up, you can't go in , and the windows are covered up with many hand written posters so you can't see in. They took my 200, didn't deliver any propane, and are impossible to contact. AVOID doing any business with them. I switched to Hones Propane, big difference. Addendum: After stopping the Amerigas propane truck drivers 3 times and telling them I wanted my propane or my rented tank removed. They finally came and removed my tank. Then they billed me, gave me credit for the 200, but charged me 215 for removing their tank. So I ended up paying an additional 15. Just their way of saying Frick You, we don't care about our customers.
Google Amerigas Reviews. Don't put the Ogden in the search. You'll see the whole picture of this company. Truly awful service. Had me waiting until 10 PM at night saying someone was coming to fill up the tank for our business. They even charged 300 extra to have same day delivery. I finally got sick of waiting after calling for the 5th time and they closed down and didn't answer. I call back this morning no record of anything. Including the extra money paid.
Automated phone service is garbage. Expect a 15 min wait for a 2 min call.
Terrible customer service. Very RUDE guy Could not even go out of his way to answer a question.Do not recommend.
Bad customer service man couldn't even respond to a simple hello how are you? Stared right at me an said put the tank their! Lol
I went there twice first time they were closing earlier than they had posted so all i wanted was to ask a question and the guy's response was we are closed and i was not even asking him. I was asking the lady about recertification of cylinders as they were coming out of the shack. He was rude and wanted nothing to do with anything but going home. Second time i went there they were closed again(unscheduled) so that is the last time i will go there. No way to run a place of business will go to Hone from now on!
