The staff and owner of AK dog wash and resort were very accommodating to our unique situation. Our dog Lucious stayed here for 3 weeks until we were able to get him shipped down to WA where we moved. (He is an American bully and on the breed restriction list for flying cargo) They sent me videos and pictures of him during his stay. They listened and followed through with my specific requests for when the shipping guys came to pick up my dog from them for me. I am very pleased that the hand off went smoothly and they were thorough with notifying me when, who and what was going on for I was doing this all via long distance. Lucious made it to his new home and reunited with his family safely and in good condition thanks to the effort and help of AK Dog Wash.

BEST most friendly & supportive staff ever! I had a family emergency & had to leave Alaska asap. This Resort took care of my best buddy for over a week & even offered to drop him off at the airport for me when I explained my situation!!! I highly recommend this Doggy Resort!

This place is full of employees that TRULY love your dog as their own. I know there have been some unhappy customers in the past few months when they were under a less-than-ideal ownership switch, but after their most recent ownership change, service has been their utmost priority. I would trust the new manager with my dog's life, and the new owner is top-notch.
