Even though we are all in an unfortunate state right now, the Annex of Ruston team members are so helpful and truly do understand that our feelings are valid. It is not their fault therefore I won’t be leaving a hateful review. I wish them the best as they really do deserve it!

In February of 2020 I signed my lease with the Annex of Ruston. I was told without a doubt I would be in my apartment in august. I decided to sign this lease because they seemed very sure about their move in date. Yes this was prior to covid, but I was stuck in the lease until today. Today is September 25 and we were notified right before they closed up for the weekend that they will no longer supply a hotel for us and we must leave within a week. A WEEK NOTICE TO FIND A PLACE TO LIVE. You can't tell me that email being sent on a Friday RIGHT before they close was not on purpose. There staff is nice, but that doesn't even come close to fix how much they screwed us over. It started with BS Fees (Most will be refunded) and now a 1 week notice to figure something out in a small town. This is HORRIBLE on there end. This goes to show you that they CANNOT be trusted. What they say has no value.
Signed my lease in January of 2020, and when the move in date got pushed back to October 1st, I was understanding and accommodated. However, on a Friday afternoon a week before when we were “supposed” to move in, we got the email that we would essentially have no where to live until January 3rd and we had a week to leave the hotels they had booked for us to stay in. The email was sent at the end of their work day, and no one could get in touch with the company. Very unprofessional, and since then I still have not been able to get in contact to ask questions about my refund. Even when the apartment is built, I would NOT trust this company in the future.
I was supposed to be able to move in August 15th, and honestly it was looking like this was going to go great. Now I have 2 days to decide if I want to cancel my lease and find somewhere new to live or wait until January 3rd!!!! To move in. It’s ridiculous. A little delay would have been doable but that’s almost 5 months of delay from my initial move in
It went from a happy experience to hell in the course of 2 months. Easy lease to sign and helpful staff until the delays started piling up and the staff stopped responding. I’m getting out of here and I would recommend anyone do the same.
