Good service and really nice outdoor space. We were there at 4pm, so we opted for the bar menu. Excellent food and friendly staff.

I tried their Shrimp and Scallop Fettucine and their Roasted Garlic Chicken Breast and they were both pretty good.
Anton & Michel ruined our Thanksgiving meal. I called Anton & Michel 3 days before Thanksgiving asking about reservations. They said reservations were full but will offer take-out Thanksgiving meals all day on Thanksgiving, just have to call ahead and the meal will be prepared in 30 minutes. Great! We were super excited so my wife and I planned our day without having to worry about any food preparations. We called Anton & Michel 30 minutes before they opened to order take-out Thanksgiving meal. The man who picked up (was the same man who picked up 3 days earlier) said they don’t do it and “ran out of meals” and won’t be serving it all day and abruptly hung up on me before I can respond. Very rude and lied to us. How can they run out if they haven’t opened yet? We luckily found a deli that offered a great and affordable Thanksgiving meal and had great customer service, something that Anton & Michel obviously lacks. Happy Thanksgiving, Anton & Michel.
What an outstanding, charming restaurant. Very tasty food and our server was excellent and attentive. The ambiance alone in the courtyard with a glass of wine is out of this world. As it so happened, we didn’t make reservations, not prepared for a busy weekend, but Luiz the Maitre D squeezed us in, and we are so happy that he did. We loved every dish we ordered and the wine and drinks were superb. The place, location, food, service, are the best in Carmel by far. Hope to be back again soon and this time we will make reservations way ahead of time.
When we arrived the professional host took us to our table on the back patio next to the fountain. We had amazing wine and the shrimp appetizer. Lunch was incredible. I had the scallops and my husband had the blackened salmon Caesar. It was a delightful afternoon. We plan to come back for dinner sometime. And definitely will be back for lunch.
