First time utilizing this landfill. Contacting them by phone was a hassle. Transferred to scale clerk who supposedly transfer me back to customer service but call was disconnected (assuming intentionally). Thus forcing myself and disabled client, I was assisting, to travel 15 miles in truck rental to simply ask questions to ensure compliance with regarding free dumping option for Crawford County Residents. The scale clerk was abrasive and unprofessional. Every response from her was an attitude especially when she was asked to repeat herself due to the plexiglass between us & heavy equipment. Due to her attitude I didn’t bother with clarification, as her unprofessionalism already set my client off. If anything was array it was due to her. She stated free dumping expired a year and half while another employee/contractor said otherwise, after we drove around dump to find designated area to dump. As I didn’t feel comfortable asking for clarification as I knew I’d be met with an attitude again. The company would do well to fire her. I’ll be seeking a channel to report her unprofessionalism to customers. This only gets two stars for the personable employee helping clearing some details. Otherwise this visit was trash, pardon the pun.

Very little information posted to help you on your first time. The lady at the window knew she worked for the dump and acted like it. She said as little as possible without explaining anything and demanding my signature on a piece of paper. Still don't know if I will be billed (found out later that Crawford County residents get 1 free dump a month). Tarp your truck or trailer. Stop at the window. No sign was posted telling you to do so. Get your receipt. There are two or three dumpsters with only space for 2 trucks to backup to. Perfect height for a normal sized truck to shove stuff off the tailgate directly into the dumpster. There is an area below where you could throw trash into the dumpster from the side it looked like.
Lady at the scale...so rude
Now closed on Saturday the only day many residents could make it. Sign and web still say open on Saturday. Passed six other vehicles loaded that didn't know they were closed on Saturday. Waste of everyone's time as you have to drive many miles just to get there. Very unfriendly people to deal with anyway. The lady at the window I can't describe with nice words.
Simply called and they were hateful!! Very unprofessional.
