Bought 3 of these 4' shop lights. Each turned on for less than 2 minutes before the ballast made a loud pop and died. Slightly different bulbs tried in each one, all matching specs on instructions. Have 8 other shop lights (from other companies) that have been running flawlessly for 10 years. Cheap junk, dont buy!

Purchased an LED shoplight from a local retailer to replace the unit my wife uses in her sewing area when it went down recently. She's been utilizing her skills and equipment to sew as many masks as possible during this pandemic for anyone in need and the shop light is a must as trying to work on these inside the house with our 4 daughters are home all the time is difficult at best. When we got the unit home, installed, and plugged in the LED lights were flashing hard and finally stopped when about a third of one row turned off. As I have worked in manufacturing for the majority of my career I understand that these things do happen and promptly contacted this manufacturer for a replacement as our local retailer was out. It took 3 emails and 7 days to get a response out of them and that response was to return to the retailer. I'm not sure about all of you but during the peak of this pandemic I find that going out to any store has to be an absolute MUST need situation. I would think that companies representatives would understand that and make accomodations to ship items out to customers to help decrease their risks and exposure. Unfortunately, this company does not feel that way and would not spend the paltry estimated 20 (unit retails around that so estimated 50% of that for cost plus shipping 20) to send a new unit out. As such I am throwing my unit in the garbage and finding a new brand. I do not wish anyone to have to receive my unit refurbished and am happy to lose the 20 dollars I've spent on it to make sure that this happens. TL:DR - Complaint ignored, company cares not about customers COVID risks and says only way to rectify bad part is go back to store in PEAK covid outbreak.
