Wow what an awesome place. Views are amazing. Peaceful, serene you name it . The drive getting there is challenging but worth it. Glad was in Jeep.

A nice fire lookout tower with some decent National Forest and mountain top views. It is about a 6 mile fire road up the mountain to reach the ridge top and then about a quarter mile hike or so to the fire lookout. The lookout was closed when I arrived, but you can still access to metal walk-around and enjoy the surrounding views and landscape.

Beautiful spot for a morning drive, four wheeler would be best. The views are outstanding. If you area geocacher there is also a cache at the top. I stumbled upon it by mistake.

Amazing view - you'll need to hike the last 1/3 mile on foot to the top.

I biked up here and had awesome views of the coast, surrounding mountains, and even a peek of the Sierras. I would love to go back again with a group for Condor viewing or astronomy.

Lived here almost 50 years, and this was the first time I have been up here. What a view! You can see the coast, you can see the hills in Parkfield. The drive while really bumpy, can be done in a 2wd vehicle, although we were in our Jeep. We found a couple of geocaches along the way, so that is a bonus.
