ORIGINAL POST- I really REALLY liked this place... but I ordered takeout tonight and on my second bite I almost broke a tooth on a small metal ball I found in my food! Anyone know what it could be from? It’s freaking me out and I am so happy I didn’t swallow it. Hospitals during a pandemic... I just am trying to think of what kitchen tools used for a vegetarian dish in an Indian restaurant are used with what I believe is a ball bearing... (UPDATE- I understand accidents happen and especially when business with takeout has been kicking restaurants butts.... Saffron was very quick to refund me and acknowledge the issue! I greatly appreciated that! I will be going back! The best thing any establishment can do is make you feel heard and resolve your issues! I’m happy with this outcome because I genuinely believe in supporting local restaurants and it’s hard to find good Aloo Gobi in any variation of the dish! Thank you Saffron)

The food was decent, service was very good. Apparently they only serve water in a bottle. It wasn't until we got the bill that we realized it was 1.50 a bottle. Maybe it's their \covid relief tax\. There were only a couple of people dining in on a Friday evening, but they do alot of take-out.
First time ordering from this place. Got a butter chicken. The sauce tasted like water downed tomato soup. Chicken was not cooked well and didn't taste fresh. Then I found a long black strand of hair in my rice bowl. Obviously never coming back here again. Horrible.
I can't say much for any of the other menu items here, but i need to say my piece about the butter chicken I ordered. I'm not one to usually complain about a bad experience-- they all happen eventually, but the dish I had was thrown together carelessly and for the price is worth my two cents. The butter chicken is my favorite Indian dish that I like to get from many places we order from. Having had several from around the area, this was Campbell's tomato soup with some heavy cream and a few spices to make it have the Indian flavor. That's it, the secret is out. Definitely something I would not pay so much money for.
The staff was so kind and patient with my toddler. The food was amazing. Definitely want to go back!
