A great value! You get your own room (something I preferred during this pandemic) as opposed to the dorm style room. Minimum 2 people per room. Spacious, clean facilities. It's an old house but there are fans going that block out the noise of creaking floors. Parking on the street is free, and you are almost always likely to get a spot. Walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and breweries. Will definitely stay here again.

The owner was fabulous, the room was super cheap (260 for four nights!) And we had access to the kitchen. Right downtown!
BJ is an amazing owner, we had to alter our reservation last minute and he was so understanding. As someone who has traveled around a good bit, a caring, compassionate hostel owner isn't always a given. This place couldn't be better located near all the action like phenomenal breweries and great music venues with amazing lineups on the regular. Definitely recommend!

The Tiny House was perfect for my boyfriend and I. It had plenty of space and was very clean. It had everything we needed and the location was perfect and walkable to everywhere we wanted to visit!
Excellent experience. Stunningly clean. Fresh, cozy linens. Easy overnight parking. Walking distance to food co-op, restaurants and many nightlife attractions. Great place for an affordable night's sleep in a great location in downtown Asheville.
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and loved the hostel. Great value for being right in the middle of the city. BJ was great at telling us where all the best places to go were at. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to Asheville. The hostel was clean and loved the bright, cheerful colors.
We found the Hostel to work for are needs. It was very clean and checking in was a breeze. We visited in November so i am not sure about summer the house was not completely full so i cant speak on what it would be like with a bunch of people staying in the house. Its a older house so you can hear people pretty easily walking around the common area. Parking on the weekend can be a little tricky but nothing unmanageable. Its not a hotel but for the money well worth the price.!!
