What a great concept! I loved this store so much. The owners are so gracious and helpful (and patient). Oils and vinegars each with unique flavors are available to taste from dispensaries. You can buy whichever you like in any number of sizes. I wouldn't call it a family friendly place as kids running around could be a problem (small space with breakables) but for adults this is a foodie paradise!

Some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Absolutely unfriendly and unwelcoming staff. It felt like I was a burden just being in there. Every question I asked I felt guilty doing so, as the lone staff member seemed to get further curt with every question I asked- all questions relating to labels they have on the oil, the abbreviations used to signify fats and acids, and so on. This was not a pleasurable time, and I'm so surprised. However, the oil is fantastic and i purchased three bottles. I'm glad I did that, but I won't be going back to Olive & Kickin unless I want a blatant visual and visceral example of how nasty American employees of this sort can be.
I am leaving unhappy just now. I travelled from Florida with my wife with the intention of coming to this store because she shared the lavender balsamic vinegar with her sister and, since she loved it, we came for more to gift her. My wife came out of the store upset because after buying a total of 5 bottles of product, 80 worth, she was rushed and made to feel like she was inconveniencing the person wotking because she had to stay 8 minutes past close so that my wife could sample new combinations. I'm glad we stocked up, but we will NOT be back. Oh, and there were 2 other sales in that time that my wife was being rushed. It seems that the employee working on August 2nd does not care for customers or having to work a few minutes extra for the sake of repeat business. Your loss.
The Owner's and Staff are incredibly knowledgeable about their products. They carry so many wonderful varieties of Olive oil's, to special sauces and obviously beautiful handmade pottery by Patrick McDermitt. As well as other local artist's. A must for Asheville lover's.

This place was an amazing find. The staff was very helpful and responsive from the time we walked in the door. Their products are tasty olive oils and balsamic vinigars. We purchased a Coconut BV, Honey & Ginger BV and Tuscan Herb Olive Oil. Highly recommend.
I have been to other stores like this and enjoy the product, but was treated by the staff like a criminal and worthless customer because I brought my children in.
