Beautiful view of the river
Love this place I can see the river Washington state, and the column, on the 4th of July great place to view the fire works, my only issue is the homeless gangs out their way too much and disrespects the area. It's a place I go if I don't want to sit at home when the homeless is not camping out there.
Astoria from the sky
Any location on the Astoria Riverwalk is stunning at Sunset. Places to sit and watch along the river. Great for resting and viewing. People are friendly, and the dogs are fun to watch. Check the tides to see just how high and low the river can get during the day. Ships are in the river daily. Cruise ships during the summer. Watch the Pilot boats. Lots of activity along the river with birds and wildlife. Old buildings and Bald eagles. Take the Trolly and hear the tour guide.
