My car was vandalized and after calling Apd and waiting for over an hour to respond, no one ever came. They know in these cases they are not going to do anything, so they dont respond to the calls. Sorry to say it very unprofessional and i never feel safe in Atlanta.

This Atlanta Police Dept has to be the MOST unprofessional employeed government officials I've ever known. While watching the National Championship game at TGIF Camp Creek, my husband truck was broken into and calling for assistance took 2 calls-30mins in between and still no show. After calling back to speak with dispatch she informed \oh no we haven't even dispatched anyone to you\. Really?? Its storming and its been almost an hr and no one has been called to assist? I see why crime is the way it is in the area because the thieves know they aren't coming no time soon. I guess you have to be dead-SMH

A JOKE!! This neighborhood has dozens of car break ins every single week! No assistance from APD and takes over an hour to even show up to the scene. What a JOKE. Seriously, as a veteran, I wonder how you take an oath to protect and serve and don’t care to do either!!! They ride around at night and never see anything ?! Nobody in uniform feels disappointed that the community can’t count on them for anything?! It’s disgusting how they handle people. The lack of effort or even consideration is absurd. Yet, if there were a time that I, licensed to carry, came out at the same time of these thieves, took action, I’d be charged. I am deeply ashamed to say that APD is my police department.

This guy who attacked me I called the police and he told me verbatim that I shouldn’t get the police involved?? This why the ghetto stays ghetto nobody gets anything done about their bad deeds I got my braces broken a gun pulled out on me by a man twice my age and police did nothing horrible
