This place was really great. All of the nurses and staff were really sweet and kind. Especially Tina and Wanda. My mom was only here a short time but she recognized how nice it was. Dr. Hooker was really great. He was compassionate and informative. I cannot thank this place enough for their kindness to my mother. I'm so glad she was able to leave this world there instead of a hospital.

My loved one was only there for a day, but I cannot begin to express how well impressed I am with the staff and the facility. The place is just lovely. Once you are out of the corridors the rooms are very nice, the common areas are very comfortable and just plain nice. But most importantly, the staff is absolutely terrific. Professional, kind, and gentle. They did all they could to make my \Dad\ and the rest of the family comfortable. They were all wonderful, and especially I want to thank Ashia for the truly caring time she spent with me, listening, talking, explaining. It helped a lot through a difficult and emotional time. Our time may have been brief but I will never forget her caring kindness,
Hospice Atlanta made a difficult time in my life much easier. Their absolute dedication to making my mothers final days as comfortable as possible having given me peace. Thank you to everyone there!
I worked for Hospice Atlanta/Visiting Nurse Health System (VNHS), and it was the most fulfilling job I've ever had. The people with whom I worked were among the most knowledgeable and caring professionals I've ever seen. I'd use their service in a heartbeat... until my heart, or a loved one's heart ceases to beat.
This place is outstanding, they have treated my family with the utmost respect and made my family's translation as easy as possible.
The word visiting should not be in their name. My opinion us not no but he'll no, do not use visiting nurses hospice. They are terrible, unreliable, only have 2 nurses on call after hours, from 5 pm to 8 am. The triage nurse who called me in GA called from PA. Took over 30 minutes to finally talk to one of the 2 nurses on call and she said she was at the least one and a half hours away. My husband died. The end result would have been the same eventually but maybe not on that Monday night. If you love your person and want good care, find another provider.
