Enjoyed our stay. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Too bad all the amenities were not available due to pandemic. We liked the texting method for maid service. Wish the room refrigerator was better. Too full of hotel items to purchase and not enough room to put your own items in. Plus not cold enough for mu taste.

Set in a historic building, this hotel — locally known as the “Grand Dame” — is a beautiful place to stay, with service and amenities to match for a pleasant, memorable stay in Atlanta. Guest will be wowed by the skyline views at the rooftop pool (especially at night). There is also an elegant onsite restaurant and bar serving up gourmet cuisine. There’s a speakeasy, too, making this an excellent option for those who like to wine and dine. Location: Situated on Peach Tree Street, this hotel is just across the road from the Fox Theatre. It’s also very close to The Varsity. Other nearby attractions include Piedmont Park and Georgia Aquarium.
Reservation booked. Drove from North Carolina to check in. Room not ready for early check in request. Waited until 4:45pm, check in at 4pm. Room still not ready. Covid excuses or not. Hire a temp service to help clean rooms if your current staff is too short to accommodate what you guaranteed. Do not tell me early check-in is not guaranteed, we only guarantee after 4pm if you CAN NOT guarantee 4pm check-in. I will leave a review for this hotel on every single site. Beginning of my niece birthday weekend and it’s already started off horrible. 1200 for this suite and you can’t even accommodate what you guarantee? Just HORRIBLE! After talking with maintenance, the room had been ready but the sink was dripping and all he had to do was fix it, no one called him. What kind of service is this for 1200??????
Hotel is amazing. Check in the experience was fantastic, and Tyler was extremely helpful in the checking process. Room was comfortable and clean. Fitness center was excellent. My only issue was with the room service, as the sandwich I ordered came with a bottle of Tabasco that was well past expiration. Hot sauce is normally red and this was yellowish green. other than that, I had a fantastic and spirit and definitely would be back.
Rooms are big and comfortable! Hotel is near everything..plenty of places to eat, lots of attractions within walking distance (Piedmont Park and Margaret Mitchell House). MARTA station is only a few blocks away and College Football Hall of Fame, Aquarium, World of Coca Cola and Olympic Cential Park are also nearby. They also have an amazing Spa and Fitness Center - with great instructors.
Great hotel for adults for R&R or romantic getaway. I would not recommend for families. If you are on a budget or trying to stick to budget this may not be hotel for you. There is only a sensored mini bar, no refrigerator for your items or leftovers. You can rent a refrigerator for 25 a night. Also no microwave in rooms. They do have a pool but its only for condo/penthouses so unless your family stays in penthouse kids will not have an outlet. Also double check receipts as bar I believe had built-in tip so avoid double tipping unless you wish to do so. As far as rooms, nice but just as descent as the Hilton. I had a Deluxe King just for skyline view which was nice but room is kinda small. Tub is not a garden so not good for two adults, same for shower. Overall I enjoyed service and luxe atmosphere however cleanliness needs improvement in guestrooms. Found a hair on bed upon arrival, stains on headboard, crumbs on floor, dirty bathroom remote wrapped in plastic, and prints on window.
We stayed here for a conference. The valet was on point. The reception was good. The best part was the conference food. It was excellent. Fresh and delicious. We had Mediterranean and Italian lunches. Great breakfasts and snacks The superlative service by the wait staff us what made the dimensions. Aziz, Tracy and David went the extra mile. All with wearing masks and gloves, clearing the plates and spoiling us with endless cups of coffee and tea. Thank you.
I was extremely dissatisfied with my stay here. I had minimal complaints until laying down and noticing that the linen did not smell fresh. It smelled sweaty on one side and a different type of smell on the other side. The front desk advised that I could change the sheets myself, which I declined, so they switched my room. I definitely did not feel that I received the appropriate value for what I paid. Especially during this COVID era that we are living in. It makes me feel that the room wasn’t thoroughly prepared. Not to mention, upon arrival the housekeeper knocked and proceeded to walk in when her first knocks weren’t answered to provide wash clothes that should have been in the room prior to check in. I just wasn’t impressed with this stay.
