Friendly service, lots of appointment reminders. They claim to base all recommendations off CDC. The provider tried to give me a 300 cholera vaccine despite the fact that CDC doesn't recommend cholera for most travelers and cholera isn't even active in the country I will be traveling to. The office visit alone was 65. The \expert\ service and \custom\ recommendations are certainly not worth the price. Research what you need on CDC's website then go to your PCP.

The initial web experience and phone contact was very professional. However, this is a one room office executive type suite in the basement next to the vending machines (Clairmont location) The nurse was very pushy about needing every drug and vaccine known to man for our trip to Africa. She even said that even though Yellow Fever vaccine requirement had been lifted in Zambia that it is a corrupt country ad they could require the vaccine once we were there and even vaccinate us there with no telling what type of vaccine. Really? Scare tactics to sell overpriced vaccines. Go to Walgreens! Less expensive and much more professional.

Great experience at Passport Health Atlanta Travel Clinic on Clairmont Rd. If one can say getting a shot is fun. Melody was wonderful, informative, professional and a absolute pleasure to talk to.

I was led to believe that the cost of the vaccine for yellow fever would be 55, but in fact I had to pay 285, being 230 for an office visit with the nurse so she could see if I was well enough to take the vaccine. The only thing she did was to read my application, that I fill out online (she said she read the night before, so I'm not really sure she actually did) she did not auscultate my lungs, or checked my blood pressure or my glucose, since I have high blood pressure and pre diabetes, it is the minimum she should have done. Not even a medical doctor charge this much to just read the paperwork and give you a vaccine. I took the vaccine anyway because I had not time to look for another place, since my travel would be in 5 days.

Absurdly expensive. Save your money and go to Walgreens. Complete waste of time to even call them.
