I went to REI today to simply get a patch for a rip in my jacket. As soon as I walked in I was asked if I needed help. I was quickly directed to the location of the product and was also informed about a couple details about the product I was purchasing and what would be best for my type of jacket. Love their customer service!!

Mike in the shie department was so very helpful in his knowledge of hiking boots. I am planing on hiking the Appalachian trail through and these Salomon boots are great.
Joel was super helpful and the young lady at the register turned me on to a trail app I didn't know about. Helpful staff and clean store. First time at REI and I was very pleased.
My favorite store for a long time. Great selection for outdoor gear plus the the quality of the products is always top tier. Best selection of backpacks anywhere. North Face and Osprey are my favorite brands. Unbeatable customer service also. Highly recommend all things REI!
EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE!!! This is the largest REI in the southeast, and it is clear why! The staff is extremely knowledgeable. Everyone is helpful. Most people don’t know that REI is a Co-Op. That means that REI is owned by its members. You only have to become a member once in your whole life, IT NEVER EXPIRES! They exist to create member value, not earn profits. Which means they offer free in-store classes, and close on Black Friday—just to get people outside. They’re also one of the last true values-driven companies. They have aspirational values that are worth participating in! The footwear department is top notch. If you think you know your foot, you’re wrong. Stop back and experience how it is supposed to be done. The camping department is incredible as well. How many places still have a genuine map table?! The staff actually hikes, and they know their gear. Get a pack fit done, you are likely not the size you think you are.
