Perfect place for a more intimate experience with the artists and crowd. Food is insanely expensive but that's just how they make extra money. Best is to go to lunch or dinner right before this place. Bring a hat and shades, the seating is in the open sun.

The show was AWESOME. The venue was average at best. The tricked us into paying more for a table seat, which when we arrived, was the same seat as the rest, with a dirty, rickety folding table, blocking the aisle way... it was ridiculous, and likely a fire hazard. The food and drinks were horrifying. A 4 tiny bag of horribly stale popcorn, a 7 “jumbo” hot dog, which was a regular store bought 25 cent dog on a soggy bun. Absolute rip-off, but other bring in good shows.

Love this amphitheater at Chastain Park. Easy to get to and easy to get out. Parking runs 20-30. It's also nice that for most shows you can bring your own food and beverage. I've seen Alice Cooper and Adam Sandler there. The seats are a little tough, suggest bringing a seat pad. The lawn is has some stadium seating structure instead of the typical slanted lawns at most amphitheaters. Bring your blankets. Shows typically don't start on time as they open gates 1 hour before the show is scheduled, not leaving much time for people to get in, get concessions, bathroom, and visit the merchandise booth. While you can bring in food/drink most of the time, it might not be feasible on week night shows with people coming from work. One show started over 30 mins late and they were still trying to urge people to get in their seats because the place looked so empty to the artists performing. Food and drink prices are decent, comparable to most venues.

First time visit. Awesome venue. I really enjoyed how it was setup and is definitely unique for the area. Not really a bad seat in the house and plenty of leg room.
