Updated Review: Dr. Taliaferro has since contacted me directly and issued a partial refund for my experiences. Original Review: I’ve been going to this office for over 2 years and I am so disappointed in the changes that have occurred within the last 6 months. At the start of the year the office was acquired by Piedmont Physicians. I originally selected this office because it was a black owned practice and serviced primarily people of color which is rare in skincare. During my second to last appt I noticed that there was a significant price increase notated for my next visit but that increase was not disclosed to me directly during my session. I asked the staff, they did not know and said they would contact me with a response. I was never contacted. I called several times after for clarity but they said we would sort it out upon my next visit. Next visit happened, my service was delayed by 30 minutes with no apologies or reasoning for the delay. I was burned during my laser treatment and then I was told of the significant 300 price increase for the same exact services I had been receiving. Their justification was meeting with market demand but it appears to be an effort to push out certain clientele and bring new ones in. I called to express these concerns to Dr. Taliaferro however I never received a call back. Very disappointing.

Not sure whether or not the staff changed but they were really nice to me especially the lady that booked my appointment. The doctor was really understanding and answered all my questions ( and I always have a lot). I look forward to my treatment and I’m glad I’ve found a dermatologist that cares about my concerns.
