I only recently discovered this place but have become a regular. Despite some of the other reviews left here the guys who work at AD are simply awesome. They are what I would call “old school” cigar enthusiasts and their cigar knowledge is second to none. I learn from Spencer each time I go in and he has a great ability to make new recommendations based on my describing what I do and do not like. Engage them in conversation and you will quickly see what I mean. Their prices are excellent (yes, you can do a little better online when buying boxes ...but only from a few places I can think of). Some of my current favorites are from recommendations I got from the guys at AD. Their prices are so good that I often purchase for my brother in Northern Virginia and ship them to him. Even with the extra shipping costs, AD is still better than anywhere in NoVA. AD is a ‘no frills’ cigar shop. If you want great cigars at great prices and an incredibly knowledgeable staff, this is a staple cigar shop for you. If you want fancy, go somewhere else.

Easily the worst experience I've had a cigar shop in this area. Guy at the counter was cold from the second I entered the store. No hello. All cigars were locked up in a jewelry style case. No idea where the humidor was inside the shop or if there even was a humidor. No selection of ash trays or lighters. I spent about three minutes inside and left because of the awkward atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend literally anywhere else.

Horrible customer service...sells expired moldy product will only refund if technician meets you at the machine closest one is two half hours away...also short changed 1.50 out of 5.00. Never buy anything from this company...EVER. Wasn’t the first time it’s happened neither this time I took the time to call and review.

Was not impressed at all with customer service, or presentation. I went to check this place out after a few reccomendations. I walked in around 10am with a friend, and we were the only people in the store. We made our way from the entrance, through the store to the counter, and stood there while an older gentleman fiddled with something behind the counter. We didn't even get a \Hello\ when we walked in, or a \How can I help you?\ when we were near the register, despite being feet away from this guy. The prices might be cheaper than other stores, but I'll spend a few more bucks at Emerson's or a Smoke Shack where they will at least greet you. Oh, and we didn't get a goodbye from him when we left either. So, if you don't appreciate human interaction, go here. Otherwise, spend your money elsewhere.
