Disappointed and deceived would be the two words we would use to describe our wedding experience with The Carl House. Our review was too long to post, so we have included a screenshot of it to read. Feel free to save it and zoom in on it to view. In short, The Carl House did not deliver on the product that was agreed upon. They cut out numerous parts of our wedding and amenities and made our experience extremely stressful and upsetting. It has been almost a month since our wedding day and we still find ourselves extremely bothered over what occurred. From shortening our event the day of, to not providing the signature drinks, outdoor heaters, valet parking, and the list goes on, we felt we were taken advantage of. Please read the attached photo for complete description. Oh and one more thing. Because of Covid, our numbers had shrunk considerably. Because of this, David, the owner, told us that because we were saving money by having smaller attendance, we should have no issue paying extra for the things we were previously promised would be included with our booking! One of the most insulting and poor business responses we've ever heard. Customer service is at an all time low. We do not recommend , and please see attached for why.

The Carl House and staff was an absolute dream to work with. My husband and I fell in love with the venue the moment we saw it. Nicole, the in house planner, made my every vision come true. I was able to be completely hands off during my big day and she took care of everything. If anything went wrong, I didn't know about it. She always made sure myself and the wedding party had drinks in hand. This was especially appreciated after the ceremony and before pictures. She handled the coordination with my outside vendors (which was only photography, DJ, and officiant - Carl House has in house staff for just about everything else). The food was exquisite. I was an absolute mess planning my wedding amidst Covid but Nicole and the team made me feel completely at ease. My day was absolutely perfect! The only thing I would have changed was adding extra time to my reception!

The uncertainty of 2020 made planning a wedding very interesting! We are SO glad we chose The Carl House! This venue is so beautiful and has such charm and history. As the mother of the bride you pray for this day, and dream of it being perfect for your daughter and soon to be son. We had a Christmas wedding and it was the most beautiful, well organized, beautifully decorated, and full of love perfect day! The owner is an amazing man, the staff, planners, food, and floral all top notch! We certainly recommend The Carl House! ️ Perfect!

Planning during COVID was a nightmare, but the team at the Carl House made it as easy as possible. Our coordinator, Nicole, was a dream the day of the wedding and between her and the other affiliated vendors my vision was brought to life. I couldn't have imagined it being any more perfect!!

Words cannot describe the beauty of Carl house. They beyond exceeded my expectations and make our dream wedding come to life. The staff is kind and they listen to what you imagine and do everything in their power to make it happen. The food was amazing and my guests are still talking about it two weeks later. Nicole was a dream come true and someone I didn’t realized I needed. She made sure everything was taken care of from my last minute ceremony change to allowing us to use our own decorations to just being all around amazing. She helped keep my nerves as calm as possible the day of and kept me informed of everything as well as making sure everything was perfect. I truly don’t know how she did it all. Everyone who works at Carl house was quick to respond to any questions I had. I would recommend anyone wanting to get married and is even debating the Carl house to look no more. They will go above and beyond for your day, no matter what the event will be. I just want to thank them again for everything they did. I honestly have never seen my husband look as happy as he did on our day and he wants to do it all over again lol.
