HORRIBLE QUALITY DINING TABLE - I purchased a dining table and 6 chairs and the quality of everything seemed great for the first month. Then we found that the table scratched so easily that a fingernail could scratch the veneer. Clearly there is no polyurethane or any type of protection on the stain. Now only 5 months into ownership I've had several screws fall out of the chairs, one of the main table leg supports is cracked in half, and 4 of the 6 chairs now also have substantial cracks in the wood frame. The warranty won't cover any of it because no \singular event\ happened to cause the damage, the wood is just extremely brittle. We are not hard on the furniture, nor too overweight to cause this damage. We did NOTHING to cause these cracks to appear. This is a very expensive piece of furniture that is complete junk quality with a useless warranty. It might not have been stored properly or the installers may have overtightened the bolts, but this is not our fault, however no one will take responsibility.

My husband and I purchased a table and chairs set from The Room Place in Aurora, IL. Less than 6 months later the table has broken because the crew put it together wrong underneath the table where you can’t see how they put together the table. Only when we went to rotate the table in the room did the bad assembly job show it’s face. The quality of the wood for the chairs was so bad that every single chair is broken now. Don’t waste your time shopping at this place. The warranties they offer for their products don’t do anything to help the buyer to repair the furniture. Plus the salesman didn’t understand the paperwork for the warranty and lied to us about what the warranty covered.

Nice place to shop. The sales people are very helpful. The manager Ramon is fantastic and reliable. He goes above and beyond to help in every way that he can. I purchased a mattress and I am very happy with my purchase. From the minute you walk through the door to the time your furniture is delivered, they are there every step of the way.

I do not recommend having business with this shop, the people who do shipping at home work very bad, I was left with the door broken and very sorry for them

I've made 2 purchases from this store. In October 2020 was my second purchase. On Dec28,2020 I filed a claim,because I sat on the sofa and the frame cracked. The company you buy the warranty with said a cracked frame isn't in the warranty to fix! I was so shocked. I called The Room Place and never received a return call about this problem. I was disappointed because I really liked this store.
