Allen over at Adobe Woodworks is the best. He worked with me to build a custom desktop, complete with a hidden pocket and places to hide cables. We liked it so much, that we also had him build three long floating shelves in our kitchen. We'll definitely be calling Allen again.
We have a very large rock fireplace with a rock mantel in our home. The mantel has always been a pain point for me because it has a lumpy, uneven surface that made decorating it difficult. Periodically in our time living here, I had searched for ways to change it out and all seemed expensive and messy. Then I found Adobe Woodworks in Austin. Through a quick text message exchange of pictures and measurements, I was able to order a beautiful custom made wood mantel to slide over the existing one. The owner is extremely responsive and easy to work with. The install went very smoothly and I now have a beautiful wood mantel I can decorate with ease. It truly warms up the living room and looks as if it was always a part of the design. I highly recommend working with Adobe Woodworks!

From start to finish this was the most pleasant process! I found a picture on Pinterest of a tv stand/bookcase and asked Allen to recreate it. Not only did he deliver but exceeded all my expectations! He was always very easy to communicate with and extremely thorough in all the details. He created a gorgeous piece that I'm so thrilled to have! I highly recommend his work! He shows you samples all along the way so you know exactly what you're getting and he also allows you to make any changes you'd like to make at each step of the building process. So you're sure to love the final product! The craftsmanship is amazing! It's the most beautiful piece of furniture I own. All my other furniture is from Crate & Barrel and this piece is my favorite by far! I'm so excited to have such a beautiful custom piece. Thank you so much.
