Great location. Good value. Great reliable bikes. We did a two day rental and rode all over town. Much better value when compared to the pay by the minute options and far more fun to have your “own” ride for your stay in Austin. They have lights, phone mounts and helmets for no extra charge if you want them. Rentals also come with a lock and have a rear rack for easy hauling. 1x7 (maybe 8?) tourney worked well on Austin’s moderate hills.

Friends, take the Art and Architecture tour and ask for Trey! He unpacked the history of Austin with murals, buildings, and sculpture. He chatted easily about everything from stories of haunted buildings to conceptual art. And did it while guiding us safely and easily through traffic, pedestrians, and construction zones. And he wore the the most supreme jumpsuit ever. And a shout out to mechanic Hannah for our smooth rolling bikes, custom adjusted for my extremely short legs.
They were very accommodating and more helpful than I thought. The owner of the business himself dropped off my bike and plotted some pre-planned routes for me to take with the bike. They give you a secure and easy to use lock, helmet and lights. Pretty much everything you need to ride safely. Bike also operated flawlessly. I couldn't be happier with the experience.
We rented 6 bikes from Austin Bike rentals before we left for Austin. They delivered the bikes as planned right on time, did all of the fine tuning of the bikes on site and off we went. We had an issue with one of the bikes brakes and stopped by their site as we were riding around. They were quick to fix it and we were able to be on our way. Riding in Austin was easy as there are a lot of bike lanes and riding around the lake was great. I would highly recommend these guys/gals
My tour guide Hanna was beyond amazing . Her tour was live!Listening to her made me feel as if I was present at every event. The turtles where the icing on the cake. Take the tour and you'll see what I mean.
