Had a great experience with Lighthouse. They were extremely responsive to all my questions and did a great job adjusting the bid to all of my change requests. Once we decided on a system, the process moved very quickly. We secured financing at 2.9 percent. The installation was seamless. They kept me informed throughout the entire process. There were a couple of minor glitches, mostly due to miscommunication and my lack of understanding. When I raised my concerns, they were immediately addressed. The system has been running since October my electric bills are 1/3 of what they used to be. This was my second time purchasing Solar panels. I purchased a 9.5KW system 5 years ago and loved it. My system this time is nearly 15Kw. I went with a different company last time and was very happy with them. But this time I no longer live in Austin and there no incentives from the City, so price became a much bigger factor. Last time nearly 1/3 of the system cost was subsidized by Austin Energy. I think the other guys may have a slightly better product, but for a 22% price premium, I couldn't justify the additional expense for marginally better technology. I have lots of roof space, so slightly smaller panels were not a big selling point. Both systems came with a 25-year warranty. I Loved Lighthouse and highly recommend them.

Construction on my home was recently completed with solar installed. I was on the fence with solar - and the main reason I did it was the diligence, persistence and thoroughness of Jay and his team. There were challenges with design because of the various levels of my roof - and these challenges were met with ease. Now that it's up and running, I'm glad I went through with it.
Jeff was extremely helpful in talking me through a design question on my existing solar array that I couldn't get another firm to answer for me. I ended up not needing Lighthouse Solar's services, but my goodness they were professional, responsive, and so helpful. I wish I could have used their services, hence why I'm writing this review to let others know of my great experience.
I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Lighthouse Solar. I started working with Dixie in the design phase and he was very accommodating to all of my requests. When our HOA initially declined our solar panel request, Dixie was very helpful in walking me through why it was declined and how to discuss this with our HOA review board. I got HOA approval and the rest of the install went very smoothly. The app they use to help you monitor the installation progress is great. I got notifications when my panels were ordered and various updates on permits, etc. The panels themselves were installed in 2 days and the only delay was the consumption monitoring module, but that was due to weather. Just received my first full electric bill after switching providers to one that does net metering and I have a 61 credit! Can't wait to see how they panels produce in the longer days of spring. Can't recommend this company enough.
During 2018 we completed several energy efficiency projects in our home. By far the most fun was getting 18 solar panels in our roof, and a lot of what made this such a fantastic experience is having Lighthouse Solar complete this project. Their commitment to quality extends beyond the installation, inspection, and activation. They were able to customize some of the installation components to meet our needs and expectations, and they did it willingly and kept things timely.
