I went to the bar & both my friend/myself got a beer. The beer was good. The issue was being ignored by the entire waitstaff while we were having a beer. I wanted an appetizer. Both my friend & I waited 20-30 minutes no one asked either of us "can I help you or do you need anything??, ever, the entire time other people were being served. I was nice & stopped a wait person. I explained nicely the situation. She continued to ignore us while others were being brought food/beer. Thanks I appreciated that-still being ignored, Wow. I finally went to a person up front & I was a little more rude at this point. She got the manager & the food was free& we both received a gift card. See I work in service also & usually tip well (sometimes 50% of the bill), but not when I'm ignored for 30 minutes. The only saving grace was the manager gave us a gift card & comped the meal for free. I would have rather tipped & paid for the meal. Don't age discriminate or pay attention unless you don't mind not being tipped. The manager did what he could because I'm sure he has a lot of responsibilities-the rest of his staff. needs to be more attentive. Like I said I work in service also.

Do you like missing appetizers, cold burgers and limp fries? If so, this is the place for you. I have gone here three times, and 2 times were not that great, the food is over priced and WAY under quality, but today's experience guaranteed that we will not be back (2pm on a Sunday) . We made our order, 4 entrees and 1 appetizer and proceeded to wait. There was one water refill while we waited for the entrees and we did not see our waitress other than that one time. When our food came out, you could tell that the fries hadn't seen a fryer in 10 minutes, they were cold and limp. The burgers were greasy with bacon that was not cooked enough to be rendered. We were told to watch out because the food was hot, but there wasn't a single item in any entree that could be called anything other than warm. When the entrees arrived I canceled the appetizer, as there was no point then. The only good experience we have had was when we sat at the bar. We were well serviced and had a great time. Moral of the story is: if you want a decent beer, go to the bar. If you want good food, go anywhere else. If you are drunk enough from the bar to not care about food quality, then order something to eat.

Excellent food and atmosphere. The prices are decent for the quality of their dishes. The beer was fresh and on par with the rest of the experience. The service was quick friendly and knowledgeable. Overall great and will be visiting again!

I come here quite often before I go to the movies. I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience here. The food is always good. And I have always had a good server. Drinks can be hit or miss depending on who makes them, but that’s simple stuff. Anyone that wants to have a good meal should check this place out!

This place is absolutely amazing it's my favorite place to eat and has the best calamari I have ever tasted in my entire life! Totally recommend this place for anyone who likes great tasting pasta sandwiches burgers and pizza! Even though I am a 13 year old kid I have strong opinions for this place. They have amazing service and a great amount of seating! Its the best restaurant i have ever experienced in Austin TX and one of the closest restaurant in my area. I hope you enjoy North by Northwest!!!!

I love this place! By far one of the best Bavarian style beer for an Austin craft beer. The food is always delicious and they run a great happy hour. My favorite thing so far has been the burger which in my opinion is top notch but they have a lot of dinner options I have no tried yet.
