I'm not giving this place 1 star because of the hair that was found tangled in the salad but because the price is not reflected in the portions or flavor. There was a few small pieces of meat on a huge pile of onions, the rice taste like its from a bag and the hummus doesn't taste house made nor did the pita. The food lacks any depth in flavor and is most likely flavored for those who are going to eat while or after drinking alcohol. If you're looking for authentic flavor this isn't it. At best you can call it amateur \Lebanese inspired\. At least they were nice enough to refund some of the food because of the hair. We did appreciate that.

wow you have to try their hummus. It's hands down the best I've had and I've had plenty in my travels (even in Greece). You don't see Lebanese restaurants in many cities. If you see one, should go in and try it. The lead lady here was very caring and she mixed some killer drinks. I had two cocktails and she did both very well. The food: yes the best was the hummus. Pita was okay, falafels were okay. I had a mixed lamb and Kafta plate (I should have ordered an extra skewer but it was plenty food and I ate too fast). I also liked all the precautions they made during the covid crisis. Everything was clean.

Tarbouch is one of Austin’s hidden gems. The Gyro wrap is my go-to at lunch. Everything I’ve had has been fresh and uniquely seasoned. Whether I’m dining in or carrying out, the owners and staff are warm and friendly.
