Waited 45 minutes for a truck rental after calling ahead and making sure they had it. Only one employee working the rental desk would constantly disappear into the back for long periods of time while a line grew. Other employees would see the line of waiting customers and go about idling or helping others instead. The whole process shouldn't have taken more than 15 minutes but overall I spent an hour and a half at the store.

The store was very clean & enjoyable to see & shop in. I went there because I rented a Penske truck to move from Tampa, Florida to here, Austin, TX. My drop off was here at Home Depot. The associate was VERY helpful, nice & EXTREMELY fast. I've never had such am easy time.

This is the slowest part of the entire store. Everyone is always waiting in line here, and it’s heavily understaffed. Shorten your rental agreement process and up your staff or don’t do rentals.

We came here to return our Penske truck. The guy helping us was very enthusiastic and wanted to make sure everything went well on our rental. Over all it was one of the best experiences I have had at a Home Depot in a long time.

I'd like to start by saying that my fiance and I LOVE Home Depot! We can go there for just about anything and often walk out with more than what we planned to buy when we walked in. That being said, this is the absolute worst Home Depot either of us has had experience with. Despite it being 10 minutes from our house, we avoid going there to the point that we will drive to the the location on the other end of town or even Lowe's. Every time we have gone, the customer service has been attrocious from knowingly renting a faulty truck without telling me that there was an issue with the tire pressure gauge, to being sent on a wild goose chase around the store only to be told they don't offer the service we are looking for, to my direct questions being avoided in a short, condescending tone from the \manager on duty\ Jason when I call to find out how late the tool rental center will be open. The list goes on and on. Before posting this anywhere, my fiance tried emailing the store manager to directly address the multitude of bad experiences we have had and after asking for more specific details about our experiences there was no follow up on their end. Not only that but the terrible customer service at this store only continues when we try to give them another chance. I, for one, am done giving this store chances and hope that this review is seen by someone who will follow up and do something about it. If you are a potential customer reading this, I highly recommend avoiding this location at all costs.

I called to request the price of renting an appliance, and I was tossed around between specialities like a bean bag. Rentals kept insisting that Services had the information and vice versa. After a good 30 minutes on hold, I gave up and hung up.
