I have loved the Wells Branch Community Library and the services it offers. However, I have been very disappointed in the customer service from a specific female employee with brown shoulder-length curly hair. I have had 3 encounters with her and each time she has been extremely unfriendly and authoritative and takes her level of power to an unnecessary level. I thought maybe the first time she was having a bad day but it has been that way each time. As a member of the community I expect better customer service at the community library.

The library serves the community excellently! The collection acquired lots of new books, often. The staff is easily available to answer questions, search for books and handle administrative transactions.

I’ve lived in the Wells Branch neighborhood for almost 10 years, and I love walking to this library. There’s always activities for everyone to go to. Staff are always nice and helpful, and it’s a perfect place to study as well.

Note: THIS IS NOT one of Austin Public Library Branch! So don’t bring your book from Austin Public Library system and try to return here (on the last minute of your due date)... They are two different system... I love this library very much. Nice environment friendly staff cute frogs sculptures outside.
