I cannot express how grateful I am of this school. I attended here as a student 2 yrs ago, taught by some of Atlanta’s best stylist around. You will absolutely get your moneys worth here, they provide so much useful education that will help you to further your career as a stylist! Compared to a lot of beauty schools out there, Aveda Institue of Atlanta is one of the best.

Really great place to get a cheap haircut in the city! The prices are truly unbeatable. I paid 200 at another salon to have them mess up the color on my hair and I came to the Aveda salon and they dyed my hair back to its natural color and did a hair trim for 70. I’ve been here twice now and it will be my go-to for hair trains moving forward.
Am writing this about a situation involving my 2 daughters, who are enrolled at Aveda. There was a turnover in management, and the director is now a Melissa and the co-director a Kortanya. Well, when you go to class, you clock in, clock out for lunch, clock back in, etc. My daughters were scheduled to graduate, one today (2/5/21), but was told she didn't have enough hours because Melissa and Kortanya told her that the clocking in/out isn't enough proof there were there. All my daughter's instructors vouched for them, but that wasn't enough proof for Melissa and Kortanya. I tried calling corporate, but apparently there isn't such an entity as each school is independent. Left message for Kortanya as well as with the person in customer service I spoke with and finally got a call from Kortanya and we discussed the situation. Not quite sure I agree with her explanation, but it is what it is. My suggestion is don't publish a graduation date unless you are 100 certain to avoid repeats. The school itself is a good place to learn a craft, but as with everything there is a business side to it which in my opinion needs some work.
In this Place Students will use you as a MARUTA when you visit here. It is Cheap but you can understand \why it is cheap\ after you get hair cut. Also, you can see why so many people left 1star. I include my hair cut photo from hear!
