Rob is incredibly knowledgeable about his work. He shared the details of the repairs he was lining up for my bass, and he was incredibly friendly too! The price is about what I expected for the work that needed to be done. I'll update this post when I get my bass back, with details on how the job went!

I swear Rob was trained at Hogwarts. My brand new high end 2018 Gerundino Hijo flamenco was on a stand when my grandson spied it and started messing with it. Before I knew it there was a nice ding on the back of the neck at the 5th fret. There was also a slight mark around the 2nd fret caused by a capo which I won't use on that guitar anymore. Keep in mind the guitar is french polished throughout. I took it to Rob to see what could be done to repair the capo marring and the very noticeable ding. He explained to me what could be done and how, but there was no guarantee that the repair wouldn't be noticeable, would be difficult to perfectly match the finish. It took a while, but he finally called with the good news that my guitar was ready. I tell you it was worth the wait. The guy is a magician. When I checked out the guitar, the neck looked like it had never been damaged! I could not tell where the repair was, and the ding had gone into the wood. I am amazed every time I pick it up to play. What ever your repair is, when you get it back, it will look like nothing ever happened, he is that good. I also brought him a bass that had an accident on one of those tripod hanging stands that scarred the back of the neck around 1st & 2nd position. Same result, smooth as glass! He obviously takes pride in his work, is extremely meticulous and patient, and will care for your instrument better that you. Thank you Rob!
