Trophy seekers is not recommended for trophy bucks. Hunted here for two yrs in the January rut to only see 0 deer. Spent 4 days and 5 days in the stand. Great Hospitality, excellent food, and good accommodations. The hunting pressure was excessive as all booked hunts was hunting the same property and same stands. The Deer went nocturnal after 3 previous groups hunted the same stands before us. Most of the trophy deer at the lodge were taken off the owners private farm by the owner and his family. The price tag for this trip was 2100 to include tags and License per yr. way overpriced. This outfitter is nothing more than a bed and breakfast with some deer hunting. In my 30 yrs of hunting the processor they use is the nastiest I’ve ever seen, looked like something out of a chainsaw horror movie, wouldn’t want the deer meat after seeing that. Sorry to be so brutally honest, but if your booking a hunt you need to know this.

Have been to this outfitter two years in a row. The food and hospitality is great but this is not a place you want to go to if you’re wanting to kill a big buck. Through the two years the biggest deer I seen was a 90” 7 pointer. Many friends I went with didn’t see a single deer. From what we were told by the processor down here. The owner is interested in the money and places the same group of people in the same stands all year. The deer seem to be over pressured very quickly. Our group of guys have learned our lesson and will travel north for now on.
