The Old Cathedral is beautiful and very stately. It is the oldest structure still standing west of the Mississippi, and it is not just a very beautiful space but a very sacred space to sit in and pray and draw nearer to Our Lord in. It's very close to the Arch and I would highly recommend that anyone visiting St. Louis plan some time to stop off and visit here both for its beautiful spiritual and historic experience!

Absolutely take a moment to go to the Basilica of Saint Louis. This simple and yet ground structure is the oldest structure still standing west of the Mississippi, and speaks to a faithful people that understand priority. First and foremost Honor and thank God. The holy Community continues to be an active parish in St. Louis. Parking is available. Highly recommended.

The Basilica of St. Louis, King of France in Downtown St. Louis on The Gateway Arch grounds is and amazing, beautiful, and historic church in St. Louis Missouri built in 1834 it is the oldest standing church in the city. This is as well an amazing place of worship.
