Although the road is bumpy and unpaved in some areas, one cannot complain because that's just how nature is. Campsites are very clean and spacious. The area is very secluded and quiet. Huge trees that give lots of shade, beautiful area to see stars. There is no running water but you are able to boil water from the river nearby. Restrooms are cleaned twice a day by the lovely camp host Carmen. Hiking trails nearby, other campsites nearby that you can go visit. Cows roam freely near the roads and you do occasionally hear them, other then that there is no sign of bears or wolfs.

It’s very far from the main road to get there, the campground is not suited for all type of vehicles, I stucked my camping van there so yeah I can tell you about it, be very careful if you’re not driving a four-wheel drive, there’s no phone service, I had to wait for the park ranger to call for a tow truck. It’s quite far from Yosemite in case you’re want to book it for that purpose. The spot in itself is a very nice wild camping area, I have nothing to say about that.

The best place on earth... Beautifully secluded perfect to get away from the crowds for our family. We followed the directions on google maps and made our own directions to stay on 6s10 all the way to Kelty meadow. The scenery and the wildlife were there in all its tranquility. Half an hour from highway 41, we got to see Yosemite, after a slight detour, just after it re-opened after the fires of July/August 2018. Toilets were clean and the family enjoyed the open fire and picnic tables. Just what we needed.

Clean campground camp host Carmen works hard to keep everything well maintained.

Before you go, definitely refer to the map page Arista Flannigan posted. If you navigate with maps, YOURE GONNA HAVE A BAD TIMME(takes you to a storage by Bass Lake, no no no, the camps by Fresno Dome, off the 41, sky ranch road) the camp is amazing though, you'll get some of the most secluded and close to primitive camping amongst the beautiful woods. Horses encouraged. Theres an ATV area down the road from camp a few miles too. Just dont bring a big 20ft trailer, if your a trailer person, you'll never be able to get it up into the camp. Never. But yeah, a perfect place. Mind the lumberjacks though, the road is used for a logging operation,(for august 2019, at least)

This campsite is not located on 222, as a matter of fact the location is private property. The actual campground is off of 6S10 which derives from Road 632 off of the CA41. It is located 10miles from the CA41. The campsite is great if you wish to stay in camp. If you are planning to visit Yosemite, this is a long ways to drive from. The road is paved, but the last 4 miles the road has no maintenance and has areas that are just gravel. I tried to fix the location on Google maps but don't know if it will go thru. Be aware of the travel. This site does accomodate trailers, there was plenty of space. The restrooms are outhouses.

Worst Campground EVER!!!!! Road to the site is EXTREMELY rough and campground is not well maintained. Mosquito's and Midge Flies infestation. The Address on google takes you an hour away to a storage unit. And the 2nd road to the site is Crazy Scary, Inches from a cliff and block by a 6ft deep stream when melting snow is heavy. WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN EVEN IF YOU PAID ME !!!!
