During this difficult time, with our Mom being at Heritage Woods, I couldn’t be more confident in her safety if I had her in our own home. When it all started, I wanted to bring her home, but realized we had to work and were subjected to germs and many people as essentials and she didn’t have the world around her nearly as protective for her safety. More than that, she just loves her home there so much that it provided her with the comfort she needed to feel something in her world was secure. The staff, headed by Marcy, who cares for each and every resident like her very own, is superb!! I just love her. She hires people who have her heart and work ethic and you can rest assured, your loved one is in good hands. The food is great too, varied and tasteful with obvious thought and talent. I am grateful every day for my 2nd family at Heritage watching over Mom. Soon, with Marcy and Staff’s incredible work and over the top efforts, they’ll have their fun, normal life back with all the extra benefits she’s enjoyed there for years. They are simply the best!!

The staff of Heritage Woods of Batavia has done a wonderful job of caring for my 91 year old mother! She can be difficult at times and they all do their best to keep her calm and well cared for, especially during this most difficult time of Covid. My mother really enjoys the food and she is very picky. The building and grounds are clean and well maintained and the staff are always quick to respond to any questions or needs we may have. I'm so thankful that my mom is able to live at HW of Batavia and I hope she can continue for as long as she is with us.
When looking for a safe, attentive & affordable place for my 92 year old Mom I found HW of Batavia to be the best fit for her & us! A year and a half later she is so happy to be a part of this great community. We feel confident that she is always being taken care of & she loves the staff. Most feel like family to her! We are so grateful.
Staff very attentive. I frequently see them having conversations with the residents and asking the how they are. The residents are also friendly to each other but not intrusive. Medication can be monitored by staff to ensure compliance. In my father’s case this was important because with family he would put up a fuss. No such issues with the Heritage Woods nursing staff. If there are issues with medication or isolation, we are contacted to see if talking to us can help. Decor is comfortable and homey. Apartments are large enough for necessities and cable, phone, medical monitor available. Great place overall with attentive nursing staff. Business staff is experienced and helpful throughout the process. Wish list: -I do wish they had more fresh salads/vegetables but my dad loves the food. -An electronic means to share menus and activities with family would be great. Many times we would like to encourage our Dad to participate in some activities but we can’t see the schedule unless we get a physical copy.
My Mother had a wonderful life at the \Woods\ in Batavia. We are so grateful to the administration and staff who provide a lively, family atmosphere for residents and their families.
